About

Hi, I’m Romain.

I spent ten years working as an assistant editor alongside film editors, on feature films and series between Paris and Montreal. It was a pretty good school for learning how to make films: working with a team, dealing with complex workflows, obsessing over the smallest details and, eventually, developing a fairly sharp eye and ear.

I also worked across television and advertising, which brought me into very different formats, rhythms and ways of telling stories.

Photography has always been part of how I look at things: light, framing, texture, the moment just before something happens. It probably explains why I still spend too much time thinking about a single frame.

Today, I work as an editor and AI director, bringing generative tools into my filmmaking workflow. I make films, campaigns, music videos and other visual projects, using AI when it can genuinely bring something to the image or open up a world that would otherwise be difficult to build.

The filmmaking part stays the same: finding the right image, the right rhythm, the right feeling. The toolbox just got a lot bigger.
